From the beginning and throughout the journey, motherhood continues to challenge and change us.

We are often sold this idea of motherhood as blissful, fulfilling and joyful - blink and you might miss it, right? And in some moments and on some days, a version of this might well be true.

BUT in many other moments, you may feel like you’re failing at it all - the juggle of meeting your child or children’s needs, your partners wants and your need for self care.

You might feel like you’ve got too many balls to juggle, or that you’ve dropped a few and they’ve rolled away (probably under the couch, stuck to something).

You might have past traumas or triggers that have been brought to the surface.

It is okay to feel like this. You are not alone.

I specialise in working with mothers who are figuring out how to find a sense of self and steadiness in this messy existence.

I believe that healing happens when you feel safe, heard and free from judgement.

Kate Mungoven Counselling is the place where you can turn to for healing, support and strength.

    Individual therapy

    Counselling is powerful. It can help you get clarity on who you are, how you got here and where you want to go next.

    Many of us know that we could benefit from therapy - from seeking help and support with what feels shitty, stuck and no longer serving us.

    Counselling can help with intrusive thoughts, anxiety, trauma healing, depression, sense of self, increasing self compassion and being the person that you want to be.

    Weekly or fortnightly, in person or online.

    Standard (50 minutes) - $165

    Extended (80 minutes) - $185

  • Women's circles

    When women come together, something magic happens.

    Women’s circles provide a space for women to gather, be seen, heard and held. And also laugh, cry, share food and create things.

    We can learn so much more about ourselves when we chose to join a women’s circle and to carve out time for ourselves.

    I host various circles throughout the year, each with a different theme or purpose.

  • Aligned & Alive

    Aligned & Alive is a 6-week workshop group, featuring three in person workshop afternoons and ongoing online support.

    This workshop provides you with the space, support and resources to really look at yourself and what you want in life.

    Think, moving beyond feeling fine, stuck or lost. And towards feeling sure, ready and fucking good!
