Hi, I’m Kate.

I am a registered and experienced counsellor, women’s circle holder, group facilitator and university teacher. I am passionate about supporting women and mothers through the changes and challenges that life brings.

I have worked in community work and therapy for more than 10 years, with a focus on families, relationships and community building. I work across Canberra and the surrounds through individual therapy, group work and women’s circles.

I believe that the connection that happens in counselling can be life-changing. Meeting you where you are at, we can then plan where you want to go and how you will get there, together.

Making meaningful change in your life often requires an open and compassionate exploration of what is working for you, and what is not. It is about working with parts of yourself that are waiting to be illuminated and understood. It is powerful, beautiful and worthwhile work that will allow you to show up as the person that you want to be.

In sessions or circles, I work from a trauma informed lens with a core belief in the importance of building a connection and working collaboratively towards the shifts that you want in your life. I weave together techniques from parts work, expressive and strength-based therapies, and others.

If you would like to know more about me, my experience, qualifications or my approach, please reach out via email through the contact tab. I’d love to hear from you.
